The AllBoss Story
A Boy's Dream & Mother's Mission
Tate & Megan
AllBoss began as the dream of a nine-year-old named Tate from North Carolina and his mother, AllBoss Founder, Megan.
Tate created the first AllBoss cart and became the original "SnackBoss." His goal was to sell snacks at his brother's baseball games to earn money for gaming equipment.
AllBoss attracted considerable attention, resulting in Tate forming a team of new friends and a loyal customer base.
AllBoss quickly became more than selling snacks and making money; it helped Tate meet friends and engage with the community.
At the time, Tate was struggling academically and socially in the 4th grade, and Megan was desperately searching for solutions to help him. Being autistic and understanding what that meant for him added to his stress. Being the SnackBoss allowed Tate to be his authentic self and build relationships structured around something he was passionate about: snacks and video games.
Megan saw Tate's success and realized that there was vital work to be done. As a former VP of Instructional Technology for a leading EdTech firm and an advocate for neurodiversity, she recognized a pressing need for inclusive, easy-to-implement programs that focus on strengths rather than deficits. Additionally, Megan was impressed by how quickly Tate acquired valuable 21st-century skills through his business. These skills are critical for learners and can be challenging to teach in a relevant and engaging way.

After considerable time and research, Megan started exploring ways to extend Tate's learning and results to others. Leaning in on her experience in instructional technology, she knew she needed to bring in industry leaders in education and curriculum. She partnered with a team of educators, district leaders, and curriculum designers to execute her vision for the Club's curriculum. Megan also hired a consultant with a doctorate in neurodivergent education and extensive experience creating professional development programs for educators to help make the curriculum inclusive to as many neurodivergent students as possible.
With their guidance, the club's curriculum was brought to life, based on project-based learning principles and best practices in entrepreneurial education. Megan knew that the content had to be relevant, unique, and fun in order for students to absorb and apply this learning. SnackBoss was real to Tate; it was "his business," and it was special to him because he was passionate about snacks. Megan knew that she needed to try to recreate this experience for every Boss in the program.
After two years of careful planning, prototyping, piloting, and revision, the AllBoss Club curriculum was ready to be introduced to educators and students nationwide.
The AllBoss Club's team is passionate about teaching educators, program leaders, and parents new strategies for creating learning environments that inspire, empower, and engage all learners.
